| Abstract: | Přímé zahraniční investice (dále "PZI") hrají ve světové ekonomice významnou roli a jsou často zmiňovány v literatuře v souvislosti s jejich dopady na hostitelskou zemi. Ve své práci se snažím konkretizovat tyto dopady i se zaměřením na regionální rozložení těchto zahraničních investic. V úvodu jsou obecně charakterizovány PZI, jejich faktory a jejich dopady na hostitelskou zemi. Dále byly vybrány přímé francouzské investice jako čtvrtou nejdůležitější zahraniční investicí v České republice. Následuje jejich rozdělení podle krajů v ČR a je zdůvodněna jejich přítomnost v daném kraji. Na základě výsledků analýzy vývoje migrace v okrese Liberec hodnotím vliv ekonomické situaci Liberce na migraci. V závěru je popsán proces investování francouzské investice Decathlon v Liberci. |

| Abstract: | Foreign direct investment ("FDI") plays an important role in the global economy and it is mostly mentioned in literature in terms of its impacts on the host country and its regions. In my bachelor thesis, I try to specify these impacts focusing on the regional distribution of FDI in the Czech republic. In the introduction, there is generally characterized FDI, its factors and impacts on the host country. Then I've chosen the French direct investment as the fourth most important foreign investment in the Czech Republic. Based on the regional analysis of the distribution of the French investment, I evaluate factors and reasons of the French investment into the regions of the Czech Republic. Based on the results of the analysis of migration in Liberec, I describe the impact of the economic situation of Liberec on migration. In the last part, I show the investment process of the chosen French investment Decathlon. |
