| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá geografickými informačními systémy, seznamuje s nimi, vysvětluje jejich použití v praxi a nastiňuje konkrétní případy, ve kterých jsou tyto systémy použity. Zaměřuje se také na vysvětlení webových mapových služeb WMS a WFS, které jsou využity v praktické části. Cílem praktické části je vytvořit funkční prototyp webové aplikace využívající již zmiňovaných mapových služeb. Tato aplikace má sloužit sportovcům pro nacházení nových sportovních tras na interaktivní mapě. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis introduces geographic information systems, explains the use of them in real world applications and shows specific cases, where such systems are used in. This thesis also aims to explain specific web map services, namely WMS and WFS. These two services are also used in the practical part of the thesis. The goal of the practical part is to create functional prototype of web application using map services. The purpose of this application is to support sportsmen in finding new sport paths on an interactive map. |
