| Abstract: | Cílem diplomové práce je zjistit, jaký význam má fenomén dudáctví v Čechách a jaký potenciál má při zápisu na Reprezentativní seznam nemateriálního kulturního dědictví lidstva UNESCO. V obecné rovině seznamuje diplomová práce s platnými předpisy v oblasti ochrany nehmotného kulturního dědictví a s jejich aplikací v podmínkách České republiky. Detailně se věnuje historii a vývoji tradice dudáctví a seznamuje se současnými projevy této lidové kultury. Na základě tohoto teoretického pozadí vyvozuje závěry, zda statek splňuje předpoklady zápisu na seznam UNESCO nebo zda je potřeba vytvořit další opatření, aby k zápisu mohlo dojít. |

| Abstract: | The purpose of this thesis is to figure out the significance of the bagpiping tradition in the Czech Republic its potential to be added to the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. The thesis explains the current laws and ordinances in the area of protection of intangible cultural heritage and its application in the Czech Republic. The paper then explores the history and development of the bagpiping tradition and shows the current presentation in rural culture. Based on this theoretical part it answers the question if the bagpiping tradition has potential to be added to the Representative List or if there are steps that need to be taken first. |
