The school-age population consists of all persons in the age usual for education at a certain level of Czech education system including kindergartens and creche. A calculation of the school-age population takes into account a possibility of postponement of school attendance and also a transition of pupils from elementary school to grammar school. A size of each school-age population is compared with an actual number of pupils (students) at a given level of education. |
