| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce analyzuje ekonomické, prostorové a sociokulturní dopady výstavby velkoplošných nákupních středisek na jejich okolí. V teoretické části shrnuje současnou situaci v České republice, porovnává poznatky ze zahraničí a vykresluje možné dopady bu-dování nákupních center. V praktické části aplikuje získané výsledky na případ nákupního centra City Park Jihlava. Práce identifikuje a hodnotí jednotlivé následky, které způsobila výstavba tohoto centra a následně navrhuje možnosti, jak některé z nich napravit. |

| Abstract: | This thesis analyzes the economical, spatial and socio-cultural implications of large shop-ping centers on their surroundings. The theoretical part summarizes the current situation in the Czech Republic, compares the international findings and depicts the possible impacts of the mall development. The practical part applies the results to the case of the City Park Jihlava shopping center. It identifies and evaluates particular consequences caused by the construction of this mall and suggests ways to correct some of them. |
