| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá komparací veřejných financí Velké Británie a Spolkové republiky Německo od roku 2000 do roku 2014. Důraz klade na období finanční a hospodářské krize po roce 2008. Práce si klade za cíl identifikovat dopad finanční a ekonomické krize na udržitelnost veřejných financí obou zemí. Také zjišťuje důvody rozdílného vývoje veřejných financí obou zemí. Praktická část je členěna do tří kapitol. První kapitola se zabývá obdobím let 2000-2010. Druhá kapitola se zaměřuje na období konsolidace veřejných financí v letech 2010-2014. Poslední kapitola se pak zabývá současným vývojem a udržitelností veřejných financí obou států. |

| Abstract: | Diploma Thesis deals with the comparison of public finances of the United Kingdom and the Federal Republic of Germany from 2000 to 2014. It focuses on the period of financial and economic crisis after 2008. This thesis aims to identify the impact of the financial and economic crisis on the sustainability of public finances of both countries. It also identify the reasons for the different development of public finances in both countries. The practical part is divided into three chapters. The first chapter deals with the period of 2000-2010. The second chapter focuses on consolidation of public finances in the years 2010-2014. The last chapter deals with the current development and sustainability of public finances of both countries. |
