The problem of youth unemployment in EU with a focus on Germany and France

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na identifikaci hlavních příčin zvýšené nezaměstnanosti mladých. Práce je rozdělena na tři hlavní části. První kapitola představuje teoretický základ práce, nastiňuje míru závažnosti problému a analyzuje součásti trhu práce, které nejvíce ovlivňují míru znevýhodnění mladých na trhu práce. Druhá část je komparací Německa a Francie. Nezaměstnanost mladých je v těchto dvou zemích diametrálně odlišná, a proto srovnání jejich trhů práce a vzdělávacího systému by mělo odhalit příčiny a nabídnout řešení nezaměstnanosti mladých. Třetí kapitola je syntézou celé práce, přináší přehled řešení přijatých i možných budoucích řešení ve Francii a také přehled iniciativy Evropské unie v oblasti nezaměstnanosti mladých.

This thesis aims to identify the main causes of high youth unemployment. The thesis is divided into three main parts. The first chapter is the theoretical basis of the thesis, outlines the degree of seriousness of the problem and analyses the components of the labour market that most influence the rate of disadvantage of youth in the labour market. The second part is the comparison between Germany and France. Youth unemployment in these two countries is vastly different and therefore comparison of their labour markets and education systems should reveal the causes and offer solutions to youth unemployment. The third chapter is a synthesis of the whole thesis. It gives an overview of the solutions adopted and possible future solutions in France and an overview of the initiatives of the European Union in the area of youth unemployment.
