| Abstract: | Cílem této práce je zkompletování a zhodnocení dostupných informací o populačních censech v České republice. V teoretické části se práce zabývá vývojem a historií populačních censů na našem území. Dále je zde stručně popsán význam sčítání lidu a oblasti využití dat a výsledků. Další část práce je věnována poslednímu sčítání lidu, domů a bytů, které proběhlo v roce 2011. Zde jsou popsány zejména hlavní změny a novinky oproti předcházejícím sčítáním. Pátá kapitola práce stručně hovoří o připravovaném sčítání lidu v roce 2021. Poslední praktická část práce je zaměřena na zpracování časových řad vybraných ukazatelů na základě dat ze sčítání lidu, domů a bytů a jejich následná analýza. |

| Abstract: | The aim of this thesis is to complete and assess of available information about the population census in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part deals with the development and history of population censuses in our territory. There is also briefly described the importance of the census and the utilization of data and results. Another part of this work is devoted to the last population census, which took place in 2011. Here are described especially major changes and innovations in comparison with some previous censuses. The last practical part of the work is aimed at working time series of the selected indicators based on result from the census of population and households and their subsequent analysis. |
