In the first chapter, the author describes emerging soccer academies. The following section discusses the theory of multi-criteria decision making and focuses mainly on methods of cardinal information as well as on examining methods for calculation of criteria weights. The section concludes with providing a description of the software used for this thesis. The practical section deals with the selection of appropriate criteria. The set of criteria is divided into two main categories, which are then compared against each other. In the course of the practical part the criteria weights computed using the Saaty method are further examined. Following the computation of individual scores, the overall assessment of players is then created using the MS Excel complementing Sanna2014 .In this thesis makes use of data from personal assessment and experiments. The primary goal is to create an objective ranking of soccer academy players in Highlands County using various calculation methods. An additional focus of this thesis is to compare the influence of physical test data on statistical data from the year 2014. |
