| Abstract: | Nejčastějším problémem investorů i portfolio manažerů je snaha snížit riziko své investice na nejnižší možnou úroveň, ale zároveň zachovat takový výnos, který naplňuje investiční očekávání. V době, kdy na finančních trzích vidíme vysokou volatilitu akcií a minimální výnos dluhopisů, vstupují alternativní investice do většího zájmu investorů. V diplomové práci jsem se zaměřil na vymezení základních typů alternativních investic a podrobněji jsem zmapoval investování do "netradičních" aktiv v České republice. Ze závěrů diplomové práce vyplývá, že zemědělská půda, kterou jsem vybral jako alternativní aktivum pro investiční analýzu, přináší možnost nadprůměrných tržních výnosů. Z povahy tohoto aktiva se ale prozatím jedná o investiční příležitost pro kvalifikované investory. |

| Abstract: | The most common problem of investors and portfolio managers is to reduce their investment risk to the lowest possible level, while maintaining such income that meets investment expectations. At a time when we see high volatility of the shares and the minimum yield bonds in the financial markets, alternative investments enter into the larger interest of the investors. In my thesis I have focused on defining the basic types of alternative investments and in particular I focused on investing in "unconventional" assets in the Czech Republic. The conclusions of the thesis suggest that agricultural land, which I chose as an alternative asset for the investment analysis, brings an opportunity to achieve above-average market returns. The nature of this asset implies for the time being that this is an investment opportunity only for qualified investors. |
