| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá arabským jarem obecně a na příkladu dvou států - Libye a Egypta. Práce přináší velké množství informací, porovnává příčiny, průběh a důsledky "libyjského jara" a "egyptského jara", srovnává a analyzuje významné faktory (zapojení zahraničních aktérů, zapojení občanské společnosti, reakce diktátorů na povstání), kterými se zkoumané procesy v těchto dvou zemích odlišují a naopak. Práce sleduje obecné příčiny, průběh, důsledky arabského jara, a to v kontextu transformace politických systémů z nedemokratických k demokratickým politickým systémům; zkoumá konkrétní příčiny, průběh a důsledky povstání v Egyptě a Libyi; shrnuje a komparuje specifické znaky obou zemí. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis deals with the Arab spring in general and on the example of two states - Libya and Egypt. The paper contains large amounts of information, compares the causes, timeline and consequences of the Libyan and Egyptian spring and also introduces and analyzes major factors (the involvement of foreign parties, involvement of the civilian population, the reaction of the dictators to the uprising), which differentiate and unify the examined processes in these countries. The work tracks general causes, process and consequences of the Arab spring in the context of transformation of political systems from totalitarian to democratic; investigates the specific causes and consequences of the uprisings in Egypt and Libya; summarizes and compares the specifics of both countries. |
