| Abstract: | Práce analyzuje vliv liberalizace leteckého sektoru na intenzitu přepravy cestujících u 34 zemí OECD. Na základě gravitačního modelu a prostřednictvím metody nejmenších čtverců testuji hypotézu pozitivního vlivu indexů s vyšší hodnotou na počet přepravených cestujících. Pro odhad užívám nejen index liberalizace a jeho upravené verze, nýbrž i jednotlivá ustanovení bilaterálních dohod. Podařilo se mi prokázat pozitivní vliv indexu liberalizace i jeho modifikací na intenzitu přepravy. V případě jednotlivých ustanovení výsledky naznačují pozitivní vliv mnohonásobné designace, svobodného rozhodování a volného stanovování cen. Negativní dopad byl zaznamenán u kritérií Bermuda I a dvojí souhlas. Jedná-li se o kapacitní doložku - predeterminace - pozitivní hodnota rozporuje stanovené předpoklady. Výsledky regresního modelu naznačují záporný efekt u práva páté svobody, což není v souladu s očekáváními. |

| Abstract: | The thesis examines the impact of air transport service liberalization on air traffic volume including 34 OECD countries data. Based on the gravity model I verify the hypothesis, that the high-valued liberalisation index can positively influence the number of passengers. I use the ordinary least squares method (OLS) to estimate the impact of the liberalization index and individual provisions of bilateral agreements on passengers flows. I was able to prove the positive impact of liberalization index on the air traffic volume. In the case of individual provisions - the results indicate positive influence of multiple designation, free determination and free pricing. The negative impact of Bermuda I and dual approval was observed. Regarding predetermination the positive coefficient doesn't correspond with the given assumption. In spite of different assumptions the results of the regression analysis indicate a negative influence of fifth freedom rights. |
