| Abstract: | Práce se zabývá libyjským konfliktem v kontextu Arabského jara 2011. Cílem této práce je vyhodnotit vývoj Libye po pádu Kaddáfího režimu. Zasazení do teoretické roviny je provedeno na základě charakteristik teorie přechodů k demokracii a hybridních režimů. Nejprve se zabývám okolnostmi předcházející konfliktu - historický vývoj, charakteristika režimu a příčiny konfliktu. Poté se práce zaměřuje na libyjskou občanskou válku a vojenskou intervenci mezinárodního společenství. Závěrečná část analyzuje možnost demokratizace v Libyi. |

| Abstract: | The thesis deals with Libyan conflict in the context of the Arab Spring 2011. The objective of this thesis lies in assessing the development of Libya after the fall of Qaddafi's regime. Theoretical framework is provided by characteristics of transitions to democracy and hybrid regimes. Firstly, I concern about circumstances leading to Libyan conflict - historical development, characteristics of Libya and causes of conflict. Then thesis is focused on the Libyan civil war and military intervention of the international community. The final part analyzes the possibility of democratization in Libya. |
