| Abstract: | The Thesis concerns with the structured products and their role in the financial crises. It defines their categorization according to the EUSIPA Derivative Map and risk associated with their investments. Further are explained weaknesses of the risk valuation and their improvement under the Basel Accords. The last section includes, despite the analyses of the crisis origination and role of structured products, also a potential explanation of the sharp fall in the trading volumes of the structured products in the selected European stock exchanges. |

| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zaobírá strukturovanými produkty a jejich roli ve finanční krizi. Definuje jejich kategorizaci podle EUSIPA Derivative Map a rizika spojená s jejich investováním. Dále jsou vysvětleny nedostatky oceňování rizik a jejich zlepšování v rámci Basilejských smluv. Poslední část, kromě analyzy příčin vzniku krize a role strukturovaných produktů, obsahuje také možné vysvětlení prudkého poklesu objemu obchodování strukturovaných produktů na vybraných evropských burzách. |
