| Abstract: | Integrační procesy v regionu Latinské Ameriky prošly za posledních dvacet let výraznými změnami. Jeden z prvních nejvýznamnějších integračních bloků, který vznikl v 90.letech minulého století, je Mercosur. Bakalářská práce sleduje proces a okolnosti ratifikace přijetí Venezuely, historicky první členské země, která byla přijata do Mercosuru od jeho založení. Práce zkoumá pozadí přijetí Venezuely a jejím primárním cílem je analyzovat pravděpodobné důsledky venezuelského členství na budoucí vývoj Mercosuru. |

| Abstract: | Integration processes in Latin America have changed in the last twenty years. One of the first major integration blocks, which was established in the 90s of the last century, is the Mercosur. This bachelor thesis follows the process and the circumstances of ratification of Venezuela as the first ever member country joined Mercosur since its beggining. The work examines the background of adoption of Venezuela and its primary objective is to analyze the likely consequences of Venezuelan membership on the future development of Mercosur. |
