| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá testováním statistických hypotéz, konkrétně parametrickými a neparametrickými statistickými testy. Tato práce se skládá z teoretické a praktické části. Teoretická část obsahuje stručný úvod do problematiky testování hypotéz a popis nejpoužívanějších parametrických a neparametrických testů. Praktická část obsahuje příklady, které ilustrují možné použití uvedených testů v praxi a analýzu vlastností vybraných testů prostřednictvím Monte Carlo simulací. Cílem této analýzy je porovnání vlastností vybraného parametrického a neparametrického testu v závislosti na splnění, či nesplnění předpokladu o normálním rozdělení populace. |

| Abstract: | The bachelor thesis deals with the statistical hypothesis testing, specifically with the parametric and non-parametric statistical tests. This thesis consists of a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part contains a brief introduction to the hypothesis testing and a description of the most used parametric and non-parametric tests. The practical part contains examples illustrating a possible use of these tests and the analysis of characteristics of the selected statistical tests. This analysis is performed through the Monte Carlo simulations. The aim of this analysis is to compare the characteristics of the selected parametric and non-parametric test in dependence on fulfilment or non-fulfilment of the normality assumption. |
