| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá vývojem pojetí bezpečnosti v rozhodovací praxi Rady bezpečnosti OSN. Autor vychází z teoretického rámce, který nabízí podobor disciplíny mezinárodních vztahů, bezpečnostní studia, především pak z příspěvků tzv. kodaňské školy. Konkrétněji je v rámci této práce prokázáno, zda dochází v rámci činnosti Rady bezpečnosti OSN k vývoji chápaní bezpečnosti směrem k novému pojetí bezpečnosti, jak bylo formulováno v akademické debatě. S přispěním obsahové analýzy vybraných rezolucí Rady bezpečnosti OSN je vyhodnoceno, zda lze v rozhodovací praxi Rady bezpečnosti OSN pozorovat tzv. rozšiřování a prohlubování konceptu bezpečnosti. V návaznosti na výsledky analýzy jsou představeny související výzvy, které jsou zasazeny do širšího kontextu vývoje mezinárodních vztahů. |

| Abstract: | This thesis deals with a security concept evolution in a decision-making of the UN Security Council. Theoretical framework of the thesis is formed by a sub-discipline of international relations, the security studies, especially by contributions of Copenhagen School authors. Specifically, the thesis examines whether is the security concept applied by the UN Security Council in its decision-making evolving in the direction of so called new security concept, as formulated in the academic debate. With contribution of a content analysis of selected UN Security Council resolutions is assessed, whether the UN Security Council decision-making shows traces of broadening and deepening of the security concept. Based on the results of analysis related challenges are introduced. These are then reflected in a broader context of international relations development. |
