| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce pojednává o Baleárských ostrovech. Především na ně pohlíží jako na destinaci mezinárodního cestovního ruchu, jež se u turistů těší v současné době velké oblibě. Baleárské ostrovy jsou z pohledu destinace mezinárodního cestovního ruchu hodnoceny prostřednictvím různých statistik, mezi které patří počty příjezdů a přenocování, délka pobytu a výdaje turistů. Tyto statistiky rovněž hodnotí mezinárodní cestovní ruch na čtyřech hlavních ostrovech Baleár, tedy na Mallorce, Menorce, Ibize a Formenteře, a vzájemně ostrovy mezi sebou porovnávají. Statistické údaje Baleárských ostrovů jako autonomní oblasti Španělska jsou porovnávány se statistickými údaji Španělska a Kanárských ostrovů. Charakteristika Baleárských ostrovů společně se zpracováním a vyhodnocením již zmíněných statistik a metodou porovnávání Baleár i jednotlivých ostrovů umožňují na závěr zhotovit SWOT analýzu cestovního ruchu pro každý z hlavních ostrovů a pro Baleárské ostrovy jako celek. |

| Abstract: | This diploma thesis is focused on the Balearic Islands primarily from the point of view of an international tourist destination because they are nowadays considered to be a favourite one among tourists. The Balearic Islands as the international tourist destination are evaluated via various statistics which include numbers of tourist arrivals, overnight stays, average length of stay and expenditures. These statistics evaluate an international tourism on four main Balearic Islands too. They are called Majorca, Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera and are compared each other. Statistical data about the Balearic Islands are compared with statistical data about Spain and the Canary Islands because the Balearic Islands are as well as the Canary Islands an autonomous area of Spain. A characteristic of the Balearic Islands together with a processing and an evaluation of the statistics and with a method of the comparison the Balearic Islands and their four main islands enable to create SWOT analyses regarding a tourism on Majorca, Menorca, Ibiza, Formentera and in the autonomous area of Spain the Balearic Islands at the end of the thesis. |
