Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou rychle rostoucích firem (gazel) v zemích střední a východní Evropy. Gazely v analyzovaných zemích mají nejčastěji velikost malých podniků a mikropodniků, podnikají pod právní formou společnosti s ručením omezeným a mají sídlo v urbanizovaných regionech, zejména v regionech, kde se nacházejí hlavní města států. |

Gazelles in analysed countries are mostly the size of micro and small enterprises, they operate under the legal form of limited liability company and are located in urbanised regions, especially in the areas around capital cities. Gazelles in urbanised regions achieve above-average sales growth in 8 out of 10 analysed countries while gazelles in knowledge-intensive industries achieve above-average growth only in 4 countries.
