| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá nominální a reálnou konvergencí České republiky k Rakousku v letech 1997–2017. Vysvětluje jednotlivé pojmy a ukazatele týkající se nominální a reálné konvergence ekonomiky mezi dvěma zeměmi. Tyto poznatky jsou následně použity k analýze získaných dat ve vymezeném časovém období. Na základě komparace výsledků vývoje HDP na obyvatele v PPP, produktivity práce a nezaměstnanosti, cenové hladiny a nominálního směnného kurzu jsou interpretovány dílčí závěry. Z výsledných dat jsou vyvozeny závěry týkající se hlavních faktorů vývoje nominální a reálné konvergence mezi Českou republikou a Rakouskem v letech 1997–2017. |

| Abstract: | This paper examines nominal and real convergence of the Czech Republic to Austria between 1997 and 2017. It defines key terms, concepts and indicators related to nominal and real convergence of the two economies. This foundation is consequently used for analysis of gathered data in given time period. Based on the comparison of following indicators, GDP per capita in purchasing power parity, labour productivity and unemployment, price levels and nominal exchange rate, the results are presented and interpreted. After the results are interpreted, the evolution of nominal and real convergence between the Czech Republic and Austria between 1997 and 2017 is provided and the conclusion is reached. |
