Analysis of electronic prescription in the Czech Republic and a proposal for improving eRecept from the point of view of a doctor and a patient

This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of electronic prescription in the Czech Republic from the perspective of physicians and patients and the design of solutions to improve the functioning of the eRecept system. The main goal of this work is to propose solutions that will improve the work with eRecept for physicians and patients. To achieve this goal, quantitative research in the form of questionnaires was used, both for physicians and patients. Based on the collected and processed data, solutions are proposed, which are finally validated by experts.The introductory part describes eHealth in the Czech Republic and abroad, of which electronic prescription is part. The rest of the introductory part is devoted to electronic prescription abroad and primarily to the Czech eRecept project, which describes the functioning of the eRecept information system, its implementation and its future.The rest of the work focuses on eRecept from the perspective of the patient and the doctor. At the beginning of both chapters, the functionalities of the person are explained in more detail and then the evaluation of the questionnaires, to which doctors and patients answered, is described. From the information that emerged from the questionnaires, solutions are proposed, which are finally evaluated by a doctor, patient and IT specialist.
