| Abstract: | Téma obnovitelných zdrojů energie se stává stále více předmětem zájmu v souvislosti s tím, jak ve světě roste tlak na potřebu chránit planetu před globálním oteplováním a klimatickou změnou. Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou obnovitelných zdrojů v Evropské unii, kdy je hlav-ním tématem Česká republika a její probíhající transformace energetické politiky s ohledem na obnovitelné zdroje. Cílem práce je zhodnotit, nakolik je země ve svém přechodu úspěšná, při-čemž pozornost je věnována především naplňování unijních cílů. Kromě toho je sledován i po-stoj České republiky k progresivním změnám v oblasti klimatu a energetiky. |

| Abstract: | The subject of renewable energy is becoming increasingly important as the world feels the need to protect the planet from global warming and climate change. This final thesis deals with the issue of renewable sources in the European Union, specifically, the main focus is on the Czech Republic and its ongoing transformation of energy policy with regard to renewable sources. The aim of the paper is to evaluate how successful the country is in this long-term process while attention is paid mainly to the fulfillment of EU requirements. Furthermore, the Czech Republic's attitude to progressive changes in the field of climate and energy is also monitored. |
