Abstract: | This Master‘s thesis deals with the use of event marketing activities in the marketing mix of the company, their planning and evaluation. The aim of the thesis is to describe planning and evaluation of a specific event on the example of Philip Morris and also to find out how visitors perceive these activities. The first part of the work is based on available academic literature that deals with the event marketing, event planning and event evaluation. The second part of the thesis is based mainly on internal resources of Philip Morris, supported by an interview with a company employee and a questionnaire survey. The given event is therefore analyzed both from the point of view of the organizer and also from the point of view of the visitor. Based on the findings, the thesis then suggests opportunities for improvement for other events. Based on the questionnaire survey, it was possible to confirm that event marketing can be an effective tool for building brand equity and improve relationship with customers. |
