Abstract:
Tématem této bakalářské práce jsou self-trackingové praktiky a vliv gamifikace na spotřebitele. S přibývajícím množstvím chytrých zařízení roste počet lively data, tzv. žitých dat, která self-trackeři, jakožto konzumenti na trhu zboží a služeb, produkují. Proto je cílem této práce seznámit čtenáře se self-trackingovými strategiemi a jejich využitím v kombinaci s gamifikovanými principy. Práce se zabývá otázkou, kdo je to vlastně self-tracker, jaké jsou jeho charakteristiky, motivace a jakými způsoby lze změnit jeho spotřební chování; představuje pojem gamifikace a s ním spojený koncept consumer self-surveillaince a nabízí odpověď na otázku, zda lze změnit spotřební chování self-trackerů pomocí gamifikovaných odměn. Závěrem je uvedeno vlastní doporučení, jakým způsobem je možné tento model spotřebního chování využít i v boji proti nemoci COVID-19, z hlediska zmírnění dopadů ekonomických ztrát.

Abstract:
The topic of this bachelor thesis are the self-tracking practices and the impact of gamification on consumers. Self-trackers who are being part of the market of goods and servises produce nowadays much more lively data thanks to the increasing amount of smart devices. Therefore the aim of this work is to acquaint the reader with the self-tracking strategies and their use in combination with gamified principles. This paper focuses on who the self-tracker is, what his characteristics are, his motivation, and how his consumer behavior can be changed; introduces the notion of gamification and the associated concept of consumer self-surveillance and offers an answer to the question of whether the consumer behavior can be changed through gamified rewards. In the end is given own recommendations based on previous findings on how this model of consumer behavior could be used in the fight against COVID-19, in terms of minimizing the effects of economic losses.
