| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na automobilový průmysl v Evropské unii v porovnání s ostatními významnými světovými centry. Cílem této práce bylo analyzovat současný stav evropského automobilového průmysl a vyhodnotit jeho konkurenceschopnost. První kapitola je zaměřena teoretický úvod do tématu, kam spadá historická exkurz nebo moderní vývoj včetně současných trendů tohoto odvětví jako jsou například elektrické vozy nebo sdílená mobilita. Praktická část práce nejdříve podrobně analyzuje automobilový průmysl v EU na základě důležitých faktorů jako je výroba, prodej, export, zaměstnanost v sektoru nebo investice do výzkumu a vývoje osobních vozů. Poslední část práce zkoumá, na základě stejných faktorů, automobilový průmysl ostatních světových center, mezi které patří Čína, USA, Japonsko a Indie. Závěrem práce je vyhodnocení konkurenceschopnosti automobilového průmyslu v evropské unii na základě komparace hlavních faktorů s ostatními světovými centry. |

| Abstract: | This diploma thesis focuses on the automotive industry in the European Union in comparison with other major world centers. The aim of this thesis was to analyze the current state of the European automotive industry and then evaluate its competitiveness. The first chapter focuses on a theoretical introduction which comprises historical excursion or modern development, including current trends in the industry such as electric cars or shared mobility. The practical part firstly analyzes in detail the automotive industry in the EU based on important factors such as production, sales, exports, employment in the sector or investment in research and development of passenger cars. The last part of the thesis examines, based on the same factors, the automotive industry in other regions, which are China, the USA, Japan and India. The conclusion of this thesis is the evaluation of the competitiveness of the automotive industry in the EU based on a comparison s with other world centers. |
