| Abstract: | Hlavním cílem této bakalářské práce je pomoci finanční analýzy zobrazit ekonomický vývoj energetické společnosti CENTROPOL ENERGY, a. s. za roky 2015–2019, zjistit důvody vzniklé finanční situace a zhodnotit celkové hospodaření pomoci mezipodnikového srovnaní. Její analýza byla provedena na základě informací, které jsou veřejně dostupné. Bakalářská práce je rozdělena do tří částí. První obsahuje základní informace o společností a o konkurenčních firmách. Druhá část obsahuje aplikací metod a postupů při provádění finanční analýzy vybraného podniku. Třetí část je zaměřena na porovnání vybrané společností s konkurenčními firmami na danem trhu. Práce končí závěrem, ve kterém je zhodnocena celková finanční situace společnosti a její postavení vůči konkurenčním firmám. |

| Abstract: | The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to perform the financial analysis in order to show the economic development of the energy company CENTROPOL ENERGY, a. s. during the period of 2015–2019. Moreover, the thesis aims to find out the financial situation and to evaluate the company among its peer group. The analysis was done based on publicly available information. The bachelor thesis is divided into three parts. The first part contains basic information about the company and the peer group companies. The second part describes the methods applied, and procedures that were used in performing the financial analysis. The third part is focused on comparing the selected companies from the peer group with the analyzed company. The work concludes with an overall assessment of the company's financial situation and its relative position to its peer group. |
