Proposal for improvement of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP implementation process

The aim of this thesis is to propose improvements to the existing established process of implementing the ERP system Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central in a specific vendor company. The first part of the work is devoted to defining the basic concepts that are associated with the ERP system and the specific ERP product that is the subject of this work. The second part describes and compares existing implementation methodologies in the field of ERP systems. The third part of the work consists in a detailed description of the Microsoft Dynamics Sure Step implementation methodology, which is recommended by the manufacturer for the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics products. The fourth part analyses and describes the current implementation process in a particular vendor company. Weaknesses with potential for improvement are identified in the analysed implementation process. The final part deals with the proposal to improve the current implementation process. Suggestions for improvement are based primarily on the methodology, which was described in the third part of the work and also on the author's own implementation experience. The benefit of this thesis lies primarily in the possibility of real use of the proposed improvements in a particular vendor company by incorporating them into the current implementation process.
