| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá globálním problémem plýtvání potravinami. Cílem práce je v konkrétní obchodní společnosti zabývající se internetovým prodejem potravin a drogistického zboží nalézt příčiny vzniku potravinového odpadu, snažit se je odstranit, hledat nové řešení nebo vylepšit stávající řešení vedoucí k dalšímu zužitkování nespotřebovaných potravin, případnou likvidaci těchto potravin provádět co nejvíce ekologickým způsobem. Ke zjištění stavu byla v praktické části použita metoda vlastního pozorování a dotazování. V dané firmě je množství vyplýtvaných potravin a jeho následná likvidace nejvíce ovlivněna nedostatkem pracovních sil. To vede k jedinému řešení – zaměřit se na vyhledávání spolehlivých pracovníků, lépe organizovat práci stávajícím zaměstnancům, tak, aby neprodejné, ale poživatelné potraviny bylo možné třídit, darovat je potravinové bance, popř. nabídnout chovatelům zvěře, nepoživatelné potraviny zlikvidovat kompostováním. K sepsání teoretické části práce byla využita česká i světová odborná literatura, projekty OSN a dalších organizací týkající se produkce a likvidace potravin. Práce obsahuje pohled na plýtvání v každé fázi produkce a spotřeby potravin v celosvětovém, evropském i národním měřítku, poukazuje na ekonomické, sociální a ekologické dopady vyplýtvaných potravin. Zabývá se způsoby likvidace potravin, u stále ještě jedlých potravin upřednostňuje redistribuci, u již nepoživatelných potravin klade důraz na likvidaci nezatěžující životní prostředí. Z důvodu navyšujícího se počtu populace a v době koronavirové pandemie i viditelné zranitelnosti velké části obyvatel je kladen důraz na nutnost zredukovat v maximální míře plýtvání potravinami. |

| Abstract: | This diploma thesis deals with the global problem of food waste. The aim of this work is to find the causes of food waste in a specific business company dealing with online sales of food and drugstore goods, try to eliminate them, find new solutions or improve existing solutions leading to further use of unused food, possible disposal of this food in the most environmentally friendly way. The method of observation and questioning was used in the practical part to determine the condition. In the particular company, the amount of wasted food and its subsequent disposal is most affected by labour shortages. This leads to a single solution - focus on reliable employees search and better work management of existing employees so that unsaleable but edible food can be sorted, donated to the food bank, or offered to game breeders, inedible food disposed of by composting. Czech and world professional literature, projects of the UN and other organizations related to the production and disposal of food were used to write the theoretical part of the work. The thesis contains a view of waste in each phase of food production and consumption on the global, European and national scale, points to the economic, social and environmental impacts of wasted food. It deals with the methods of food disposal, for still edible food it prefers redistribution, for already inedible food it emphasizes environmentally friendly disposal. Due to the growing population and, at the time of the coronavirus pandemic, the visible vulnerability of a large part of the population, emphasis is placed on the need to reduce food waste as much as possible. |
