| Abstract: | Tématem této diplomové práce je koncept Smart City. Hlavním cílem diplomové práce je zmapování současné situace hl. m. Prahy co se týče vývoje z pohledu konceptu Smart City. Dílčím cílem je jednak poskytnutí komplexního přehledu probírané problematiky a seznámení čtenáře s nejaktuálnějšími trendy, ale i navržení doporučení či inspirací pro Prahu, vyplývajících z provedených analýz. K dosažení hlavního cíle práce byla stanovena výzkumná otázka, na jejíž správné zodpovězení byla využita komparativní analýza. Ke komparaci výkonnosti Prahy byla zvolena hlavní města zemí sousedících s Českou republikou – Berlín, Bratislava, Vídeň a Varšava. Syntéza v podobě SWOT analýzy poskytla východisko pro stanovení doporučení v podobě konkrétních projektů ostatních měst. Hluboká literární rešerše poskytla komplexní přehled o daném tématu. |

| Abstract: | The topic of this master´s thesis is the concept of Smart City. The main goal of the diploma thesis is to map the current situation of the capital Prague in terms of development from the perspective of the Smart City concept. The partial goal is to provide a comprehensive overview of the issues discussed and to acquaint the reader with the latest trends, as well as to propose recommendations or inspiration for Prague, resulting from the analyzes. To achieve the main goal of the thesis, a research question was set to the correct answer of which a comparative analysis was used. The capital cities of the neighboring countries with the Czech Republic - Berlin, Bratislava, Vienna and Warsaw - were chosen to compare Prague's performance. The synthesis in the form of a SWOT analysis provided a basis for setting recommendations in the form of specific projects of other cities. An in-depth literary research provided a comprehensive overview of the topic. |
