| Abstract: | Tato práce zkoumá vliv studijního oboru na výběr partnera. Práce se nezabývá pouze oborovou homogamií, ale homogamií a párováním obecně. Hlavním cílem je zjistit, zda existuje závislost mezi oborem studia a oborem studia partnera. Data byla získána pomocí dotazníkového šetření. Za pomocí Chí-kvadrát testu nezávislosti a Spearmanova korelačního koeficientu bylo zjištěno, že mezi studijním oborem a oborem studia partnera závislost není. Byla však potvrzena závislost mezi finanční stránkou a důležitostí vzdělání. Využitím Spearmanova korelačního koeficientu bylo zjištěno, že míra preference studování vysoké školy u partnera, závisí na vnímané důležitosti vzdělání partnera. Dalším ze zásadních odhalení je slabší síla závislosti mezi pohlavím a důležitostí vzdělání u partnera. |

| Abstract: | This study examines the influence of the field of study on the choice of partner. The study does not deal only with field of study homogamy, but with homogamy and mating in general. The main goal is to find out whether there is a dependence between the field of study and the field of study of the partner. The data were obtained using a questionnaire survey. Using the Chi-squared independence test and the Spearman correlation coefficient, it was found that there was no dependence between the field of study and the partner's field of study. However, the dependence between the financial side and the importance of education has been confirmed. Using the Spearman correlation coefficient, it was found that the degree of preference for college studies in a partner depends on the perceived importance of the partner's education. Another major revelation is the weaker strength of gender dependency and the importance of education in a partner. |
