Decentralized Application for Video Streaming and Original Content Production Service

This master thesis proposes a decentralized application design for video streaming and original content producing services such as Netflix and Hulu and aims to present a solution that would eliminate a bridge between the content creators and the content consumer; thus, ensuring a fairer content creators-oriented ecosystem. New content may be proposed by the users and the proposed project may be crowdfunded by the in-app users; thus, becoming the project’s investors. Investors receive a NFT token with an associated share that ensures them the streaming rewards given by their share. Prototype of such an application was built; though, unsuccessful in providing a deployable working solution related to the rewards distributing system.
