Abstract: | The diploma thesis deals with the issue of working from home during the COVID-19 pandemic, when the Home Office benefit gradually became a necessity for the daily functioning of some employees. The aim of the thesis is to determine the impact of the various government measures introduced in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic on employees and employers. To achieve the objective, in addition to a literature review, a quantitative and qualitative research is used in a selected banking organization examining the specific impacts on its employees and on the organization itself. The thesis has revealed that communication, financial and material support for employees and employers and the related appropriate allocation of employer resources are crucial in times of crisis. At the same time, the thesis showed that employees maintain their productivity when working from home and that the turnover rate of the selected employer during the COVID-19 pandemic was lower than that of the specified comparison period. |
