| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou postavení Evropské unie v době pandemie Covid-19, včetně přijatých opatření ze strany EU a jednotlivých států na osobní svobody, případně porušování lidských práv a svobod, které jsou deklarovány ve smlouvě o Ústavě pro Evropu. Nedílnou součástí mé práce je rovněž zhodnocení dopadů rozhodnutí jednotlivých států na obyvatelstvo a role vedení EU při řešení naléhavých otázek a role EU jako lídra evropského společenství při zajištění ochranných pomůcek a vakcín. |

| Abstract: | This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the position of the European Union during the Covid-19 pandemic, including measures taken by the EU and individual states on personal freedoms, or violations of human rights and freedoms, which are declared in the Treaty on the Constitution for Europe. An integral part of my work is also the evaluation of the impact of the decisions of individual states on the population and the role of the EU leadership in solving urgent issues and the role of the EU as the leader of the European community in providing protective equipment and vaccines. |
