Demographic indicators are pivotal in comprehending, analyzing and solving societal challenges, whether it be understanding the studied population or trends in time series. These indicators also play a crucial role in governmental decision-makings, especially concerning topics such as the retirement age, which is related to pension reform overall. Diverse statistical methods are employed for data analysis, initially utilizing one-dimensional methods, which are subsequently applied for forecasting purposes. Of the multi-dimensional methods, multivariate regression analysis is used here. Projections for the future development of demographic indicators extend over several decades. |
