| Abstract: | This thesis deals with the concept of the throw-away society. It focuses on the context of the fast fashion industry with a greater focus on alternatives. The thesis is divided into three parts that are the theoretical, the methodological and the empirical part. The aim of the thesis is to identify the consumption be-haviour of a selected group of respondents and their attitudes towards alternative, more environmentally friendly fashion purchasing options. For this purpose, the exploratory method of in-depth interview was chosen. The respondents of this thesis are working individuals in the age range of 25-31 years. The thesis reveals that despite high awareness of sustainability, participants often fail to exhibit consistent sustainable behaviours, exemplified by acknowledging the ecological impact of fast fashion. |

| Abstract: | Tato práce se zabývá konceptem jednorázové společnosti. Zaměřuje se na kontext fast fashion průmyslu s větším důrazem, na jehož alternativy. Práce je rozdělena do tří částí, kterými jsou teoretická, metodologická a empirická část. Cílem práce je zjistit spotřební chování vybrané skupiny respondentů a jejich postoje k alternativním, ekologicky šetrnějším možnostem nákupu módy. Pro tento účel byla zvolena explorativní metoda hloubkového rozhovoru. Respondenty této práce jsou pracující jedinci ve věkovém rozmezí 25-31 let. Práce ukazuje, že navzdory vysokému povědomí o udržitelnosti účastníci často neprojevují důsledné udržitelné chování, jehož příkladem je uvědomění si ekologického dopadu rychlé módy. |
