Trendy v oblasti Big Data

This thesis deals with the analysis of scientific articles in order to identify current trends in the Big Data area and to offer an overview of the most frequently occurring industries. Other goals of this work are to define the term Big Data using various definitions obtained from the literature, this goal is met in the first chapter, which describes the characteristics of this term. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the analysis of available literature in the area of Big Data trends using the Systematic Literature Review method. This method is described, the following chapters explain the applied procedure, the selection criteria for the compilation of scientific articles and the results of the analysis. In accordance with the third objective, which is the categorization of trends in the Big Data area, relevant scientific articles are selected according to the selection criteria. According to the frequency of occurrence of the sectors in the publications, four trends for the Big Data area are identified and categorized. These trends, called Smart Health, Smart Cities, Smart Manufacturing and Privacy, are individually described. Following part of the work is devoted to discussion of limitations in the analysis and recommendations for possible future work that would like to address trends in Big Data.
