Vliv pandemie COVID19 na požadované kompetence projektových manažerů působících ve sféře ICT

Master’s thesis focuses on the topic of managerial competences. The main goal of this thesis is to examine the impact of the pandemic crisis on changes in the required competencies of project managers operating in the field of information and communication technologies. The theoretical part of the thesis introduces selected theories of managerial competences and summarizes concepts and findings from the field of managerial competences. It also presents the issue of project management, the competencies of project managers and the functioning of the field of project management during and after COVID-19. The main emphasis of this thesis lies in the empirical part, which includes qualitative research carried out through in-depth semi- standardized interviews and interpretive phenomenological analysis. The thesis thus expands the current view on the competencies of project managers and provides a new perspective on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the required competencies. The research provides a comprehensive understanding of the investigated issue and, through a discussion, summarizes the main practical findings and their connection with theoretical findings.
