Vybudování datového skladu

This diploma thesis focuses on building a data warehouse for a company specializing in IT services outsourcing. The data warehouse is intended to serve as a central data component for reporting within the organization. The thesis has several objectives, including requirements analysis, solution architecture design, solution implementation procedure design, and implementation of selected steps from the solution implementation procedure. The theoretical part of this thesis describes the main components and architectures of the Business Intelligence field, which are important for understanding the context of a data warehouse. The theoretical part also includes a description of the ArchiMate modelling language, which is used for modelling the architecture of the proposed solution. The practical part describes the current state of the reporting solution in the company, outlines the business requirements for the solution, selects technologies for implementing the solution, proposes the solution architecture, and suggests a schedule and procedure for the solution implementation. From the solution implementation procedure, groups of activities related to solution development preparation and data warehouse staging are chosen. Subsequently, the implementation of the selected groups of activities is described.
