Abstrakt:
When discussing the AI transformation, there is a prevailing notion that AI will streamline human existence. However, in reality, the adoption of AI is primarily motivated by economic advantages rather than the creation of a utopian society. This dissertation seeks to explore the emergence of AI technologies and their underlying drivers, with a specific focus on their impact on global interdependence, the transformation of traditional industries, and the disruption of the global labor market. We are currently experiencing a revolution akin to the industrial revolution, with comparable consequences. Nevertheless, the rapid pace of this transformation surpasses our capacity to fully comprehend it, as our cognitive faculties have evolved in response to slower-paced changes.
