Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá virtuálními týmy v mezinárodní společnosti. Na začátku práce je rozebrán pojem virtuálního týmu, jeho odlišnosti, negativa a pozitiva, složení týmů a jeho různorodost. Dále je práce zaměřena na teoretické znalosti v oblasti virtuální týmové práce a jejích psychologických aspektů. Zachycena je také problematika vedení týmů a řešení konfliktů. Cílem této práce je analýza virtuální týmové práce v konkrétní mezinárodní firmě. V praktické části byla virtuální týmová práce zkoumána za použití dvou metod: kvalitativní případové studie a polostrukturovaných hloubkových rozhovorů. Empirický výzkum potvrzuje teorii a zároveň ji doplňuje. Výsledky práce poukazují na význam mezikulturních kompetencí jako faktoru úspěchu virtuální multikulturní týmové práce. Diplomová práce také poskytuje doporučení pro její zefektivnění a optimalizaci. |

Abstract: | The diploma thesis deals with virtual teams in an international company. The first part of the thesis analyses the concept of a virtual team, its differences, negatives and assets, team´s structure and their diversity. The thesis is then focused on theoretical knowledge in the field of team management and conflict solution. The aim of this thesis is an analysis of virtual team work in a particular international company. In the practical part, the virtual team work was explored through two methods: a qualitative case study and half-structured interviews. The empiric research confirms the theory and simultaneously supplements it. The results of this thesis point at an importance of intercultural competencies as a factor of a successful virtual multicultural team work. The diploma thesis also provides some recommendations for its higher efficiency and optimisation. |
